AI Apply is the Refer.me feature that applies to jobs for you. Pick a job on Refer.me and click AI Apply. It writes a cover letter for that job, opens the employer's application form, fills it in from your resume and the details you've saved, adds the letter when the form asks for one, and submits the application. You get an email when it's done.
AI Apply sends your application through the company's careers site, the same form you would fill in yourself. That includes sites run on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday and Ashby. If a site asks you to solve a CAPTCHA, AI Apply stops, and the job page tells you to apply on the company's site instead.
AI Apply fills the form from your resume and the answers you save. When a form asks a routine question you haven't answered, such as whether you can work from the office or how you heard about the job, AI Apply answers it for you. The first time you use AI Apply, it asks for the details most applications need, such as your phone number and whether you need visa sponsorship. It never guesses answers about gender, race or disability.
Jobs on Refer.me also have a Request Referral button, which asks people who work at that company to refer you. You can send an application with AI Apply and ask for a referral for the same job.
